    hello, I recently ordered a Xbox one and it's still shipping it's not here yet. I recently noticed that the only way you can hook your Xbox to ur tv is with an hdmi cable. My tv's hdmi port is broken so I need to use an alternative option. I saw a bunch

    Can xbox one s use the pc monitor with hdmi connection, so that i dont need to use tv to play xbox one s. I will just use pc monitor with hdmi connection.tks

    My tv is HDMI 1080p and when I put the Xbox one display setting to HDMI I can't see the whole screen. I can see the whole screen when I use DVI but then there is no sound. I need help please

    Usually with HDMI-to-"X" converters, you may encounter problems with HDCP causing blank or flickering screens. This is because these adapters may not support the decoding of HDCP, or may only support an outdated version of HDCP. I think the Xbox One uses
    HDCP 2.2.

    Definitely look for reviews about experiences specifically with Xbox One so you'll have an idea of what to expect.

    but which type of converter do you think would work better?A cable with one side hdmi the other composite like the 1st link, or a converter box like the 2 and link? Also what is HDCP?

    Monoprice Blackbird 4K Pro HDCP Converter, 2.2 to 1.4 - Monoprice.com this is a 2.2 to 1.4, I couldn't find any for the other way around,
    can this work? So can I use one of these ^ to insert an hdmi cable into the Xbox and the opposite side into this ^ and use a another hdmi cable to to insert it into the opposite side of this ^ box and plug the opposite side of the hdmi cable into this RadioShack
    vvv converter and to put the component colored cables into the component slot of the tv?

    That's a great idea. I have additional HDMI cables laying around myself. I guess the problem with that is, some kid gets a new XBOX one and can't play it because he doesn't have a cable. I guess the other point is, you can use your HDMI cables anywhere
    you want because they are standard, however, you can't use your Kinect brick anywhere else, only on your XBOX One, forcibly.

    Since your Xbox One console outputs HDMI, you will be looking for an HDMI to Display cord/adapter. Unfortunately we can't recommend a specific cable/adapter, but hopefully that helps! Let us know if you have any additional questions. :)
