HELP!! I can't get minecraft Xbox one edition to change storage device. :-(

The option does not come up to change storage device anymore. My external drive is connected and it reads fine in the dashboard but in the Minecraft Xbox One Edition there is no option anymore. I know there WAS an option because I have worlds that I have
created and saved on the external hard drive before now I can't access them. There is no option. The only option I'm getting for the Blue X button is only to retrieve 360 save, which I've already done but is not what I want to do. any help in this matter would
greatly be appreciated.

You can play Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition with other devices running Minecraft: Pocket Edition, such as Windows 10 and Windows Phone devices.

Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition can only be played with other Xbox 360 consoles on Xbox Live. The Xbox One edition can only be played online with other Xbox One consoles. There is no cross-platform play between the Xbox editions and other editions of Minecraft.

 

okay I guess I mistaken, and there isn't any storage device options. I could have sworn there was a long time ago because I remember making a horse ranch, when the horse update came out. now I can't find those levels that I made but oh well I guess I'm wrong

 

On the 360 you go in-game and then change the storage device when you go to save as normal, and move it that way.

 

if you read, you will see, that I was talking about the Xbox one. I know how to do it on the 360. And I do want to save the 360 map on the Xbox one. So I'm trying to figure out how to get rid of that command prompt to keep telling me to save it.

 

Not that difficult. I'm sure a genius like you will figure it out.

 

that's kind of an ignorant response. I didn't say I was a genius. just looking to try to figure out how to remove that command prompt telling me to keep saving by 360 level. I'm sorry if my questions were to over your head.
