Help i cant buy 360 games!!

im having trouble changing my locale from india to USA. my xbox one is set to USA and my 360 is stuck on india so it gives me error codes when i try to buy a game off store or load my billing info. i have a gift card but cannot use it to buy any 360 game.
how do i change my locale?! ive changed it back on system but its still Rs. currency for my profile when i log in

i cant sign in!!! help!!

ok, so a while back LIVE sent me a message over xbox live and said that i needed to enter in a security code for my account so no one else could sign in to it. i ignored it. a few days ago i was at my friends house and i couldnt download my account. an error code popped up. now when i try to sign in to xbox live on my computer, it makes me go through all this crap. my email hooked up to xbox live is hotmail and it is microsoft too. i have to enter that stuff in my hotmail account too! Help!

Your location is tied to your Microsoft Account, not just your Console. Look at this link for the method of changing your account over to the new region. Update Microsoft account if Moving to a New Country or Region

Gift cards cannot be used for xbox 360 games unles youhave an xbox 360

Another thing changing your region to the usa wont work unless you are physically there

As xbox does check

Region independence is only an xbox one feature and doesnt apply to 360

Currency isnt transferable either

For purchasing xbox 360 games on xbox one

Firsf you need a paymenr method currency wont work as mentioned before

You will however finf some 360 games thst dont require account region and actual rrgion to match however console langiage has to match the account region
