    Hello, I have changed my gamer name and profilname an can no longer access my account in a game. The administrartors want confirmation that i really did change my names, maybe they can confirm that somehow? Thank you.

    First, welcome to the Xbox community. I suggest you try the solutions below, please.

    Solution 1: Make sure your windows are updated to the latest version, whether it's windows 10 or 11.

    Solution 2: Make sure you have your account logged in to the Microsoft store and also Xbox app, both must be the same.

    Solution 3: Log out your Microsoft store account and also the Xbox app, now type the term WSRESET in the windows search bar and run the app as administrator, a window will open, wait for the window to close automatically and restart your computer, after that login your Microsoft Store account and Xbox app again.

    Try this.

    How do I remove an account from my console?

    Scroll left on the Home screen to open the guide.

    Select Settings.

    Select All Settings.

    Under "Account," select Remove accounts.

    Select the account that you want to remove.

    Select Remove to confirm.

    When you're finished, select Close.

    After removing the account, upon sign in, xbox one showed me the "Xbox One is better with Gold" screen and asked if I'd like to buy Gold.. Clearly still having the same issue.
