    Help I am old and never connected a game console to my tv


    I am trying to connect my Xbox 360 to my Emerson tv. I am having problems. I put the set up on video. I plugged in the high speed cable with Ethernet into the hdm1 port in my tv then into my Xbox console. I heard music then nothing the screen stayed blank.
    I love ses the yellow red and white cables. Nothing. I am at a loss.

    Hdmi not working for Xbox 360 but works on everything else help?

    i have had my xbox 360 connected to an old tv and when i connected it to a new tv it doesnt show any picture or no sounds i wish to play in Hd help?

    High Pitch noise with Xbox 1 and PS3

    Can anybody help? I am getting a high pitch whistling sound when connecting my son's xbox 1 and PS3 to my plasma TV. Originally I thought it was the PS3 fans as it only occurred when the console had been on for sometime. Now my son has connected his Xbox 1 it is on all the time, especially as we have our Humax receiver connected through the Xbox. The sound appears to be coming from the TV itself, but is only there if one of the two consoles are in use. If i change the input/port to play a dvd not connected to the consoles the sound goes away, even though the consoles are still connected and on. Have tried changing all the HDMI leads but to no avail.

    You only need to connect either the HDMI or the RCA (Yellow, red and white) cables, not both. Have a look at this page for instructions:

    Xbox Live having trouble with my new TV.

    Well, to start off the problem is occuring whenever I try to connect to LIVE with my new TV hooked to the Xbox. My old TV works fine with LIVE, but the old TV has some audio problems so we got a new one. The new one does not allow me to connect to LIVE.
    I have a Xbox Arcade. The New TV is a Dynex 32" 720p. I am currently using a wireless connection.

    I connected my xbox x series to my new samsung smart tv. It won't let me play from a disc inside the box. Any suggestions.

    I bought the xbox x and connected it to my old samsung tv and it worked great. I bought a new samsung qled tv for Christmas and hooked it up. The tv is so smart it recognized the xbox and loaded it onto tv. I tried to play a game from the console but it doesn't allow me to access it. I can only get what you call cloud gaming. Is there a way to play directly to tv like before. Thanks for your help.

    Connect the console to another monitor / TV. Check what happens.

    From my experience: my old LG LED TV had started giving everything a shade of purple. The problem in the end was not due to my console.
