HELP getting my xbox one connected to my wireless router

Hey Xxmidlight335xX! Does the message you receive state that there is an issue with the console's hardware? If possible post a screenshot of what you're seeing. If that is the case, you will need to get the console repaired. Post back and let me know!

i have wireless connection i have the regular xbox router connecting to my wireless router.

My Xbox One won't connect to the 5GHz band of my Asus N66U wireless router.

The first answer did not help at all because im not that new to xbox and I know how to set up a wireless adapter...

And my internet is from Comcast and it is cable internet connection.

the connection is ok and sometimes it actually logs in perfectly but only for like one multiplayer game play. And all of sudden xbox live connection is disconnected or i am disconnected with the network (router). In the latter case, the wireless network
adapter of xbox light turns red.

I dont know but this is just my random guess but I guess my xbox is having trouble with "group key renewal" function of the router. (under wireless>wireless security)

It is currently set at 1200 seconds. I think now it is more trouble with connecting to the router than to the xbox live.

I need some help where my xbox can STAY CONNECTED TO THIS ROUTER!!!!

My network equipments are:

A Westell (not sure if spelled right) DSL Modem and a Netgear Wireless N 300 router.

Other devices connected to my router are:

2 Desktops(wired), 2 laptops (wireless), 1 netbook(wireless), Playstation 3 (Wireless), Wii (wireless), 2 Ipod Touch's (wireless), and my xbox 360 (wires).

I know it may seem like a lot of devices on one home network, But usually there is very few of them connected to the internet at one time and i prioritized connection for my 360 on the router.

Only my 360 disconnects and causes network/internet disruption.
