Help! Game Pass opens Microsoft Store to install Gaming Services (even if it's installed)...

Happens the same if you try to open the games from the store app?

This option takes your PC back to an earlier point in time, called a system restore point. Restore points are generated when you install a new app or driver, and when you create a restore point manually. Restoring won’t affect your personal files, but it will remove apps, drivers, and updates installed after the restore point was made.

Select Recovery > Open System Restore.

In the Restore system files and setting box, select Next.

Select the restore point that you want to use in the list of results, and then select Scan for affected programs.

What after? Are you asking me to try to restore? I only have two restore points. One on the 31st, and one on the 19th.

It's also worth noting, I did look for this supposed optional update, however it's never been there on the list. I have no optional updates.

No, this brought up a few errors because some of the files were in use. Sadly, I'm still completely dead in the water.

I'm going to try again to remove those two registry keys, run the powershell command that disables Gaming Services, I've opened the services panel and checked where "gaming services" are, and there's two entries. Only one runs, so I navigated to the folder where it's running the gaming services out of and I deleted everything in it, so that when I reboot, a clean, fresh version of gaming services installs. Although I am worried as each time I try this, Microsoft Store says (restoring user settings) and I'm wondering if those settings are what's not making this work, but I digress. Once it's finished reinstalling, I'll try to run things again and update here, but as of now, still no solution has worked.

I'm in panic mode! I do NOT want to have to reformat. This is ridiculous as the problem still exists.
