    help forgotten password


    Tim from Skirling - had xbox 360 for years - never gone "live" - cant go live as cant remember password for my original microsoft account. Email address on that account now defunkt. have set up new details but cant change on the xbox, just keeps asking for
    password - have NO IDEA how to do this. I am a complete **** when it comes to this. someone please help - very disappointed little boy

    Hey there Shadow! Unfortunately it would be up to your friend's brother to maintain the information to his own account. If he doesn't remember it, he can try our suggestions here (forums.xbox.com/.../153168.aspx)

    Forgotten Password - HELP!

    Your responsible for that information in keeping it secure unless approved by Microsoft. Sorry, but if you have lost all of the account information then that is your own fault. You are also responsible for YOUR account and everything that account contains
    in it as well. You can try calling an agent for assistance, but I am not sure if they will be able to help you if you don't know any of the account security questions.

    If you have tried the last resort of Proving You Are The Owner method and failed. Then I am afraid that it looks like you will not get the account back. You could try one last time and phone Xbox Support and try to provide more details, Support staff will
    not just simple change the details because you asked, they need 100% proof you are the owner.
