Help for hearing impaired gamer

Is there anyway to use my Phonak Compilot for communications on the Xbox? If I wear a headset it screws with the sound in my hearing aids.

Just so you know, I'm one of them.

And yes, I do rely on my sight a lot in games. Which is why I'm rubbish at shooters. Other games have the benefit of being able to hear where gunshots are close and people sprinting towards you I don't.

As for how I lost my hearing, brain stem encephilitis when I was 8 years old. Nasty stuff.
