    [Help] Factory Resetting


    Got a quick question, I want to factory reset my Xbox One and just wondering if it will delete my 'Elder Scrolls Online' character, as there is a local game save on the xbox but the game itself is all online (obliviously). Not worried about anything else
    other than this, cheers. (I'd post on the ESO forums but can't register an account)

    And factory resetting my console did absolutely nothing to help.

    Thanks for all the help guys, I'll try the factory reset/restore when I get home. All my games and apps are on an external drive, so I might just say good bye to everything, see what happens.

    Shouldn't do as everything is stored to the cloud as well & I would think your character is stored on the ESO servers as well.

    Not sure it's out to the public yet but the option to factory reset without deleting all of your games etc. is either out or coming quite soon.

    Resetting your console to its factory defaults erases all accounts, saved games, settings, and home Xbox associations. Anything not synchronized with Xbox Live will be lost. Your console syncs with Xbox Live automatically when it’s connected with the
    service, so if you've been offline for a while, you'll need to connect to Xbox Live before taking these steps    .
