    TL;DR: Minecraft bedrock on xbox wont install latest version and keeps installing old version.

    Hi all,

    I had the minecraft beta on my xbox one. One day i was playing it, and it updated while playing. It never finished because i turned off my console before it finished (i was done playing and forgot). Ever since, I can’t update the game past 1.17.10, which isn’t even the latest STABLE version. I’ve left the beta and rejoined, which didn’t work. I then reinstalled and my console keeps installing the same version, 1.17.10, when the latest version is 1.17.41. Help would be appreciated.

    Well if he's in the insider programn then he got a update today had the same issue the alpha & apha skip ahead builds are broken for 50% of the people that are ih that group so don't update your console if you're in alpha or alpha skip ahead

    Hi, I tried to private message you but it didn't work.

    You have to be in the insider preview to download the avatar beta app. It works on the original Xbox One, the Xbox One S and Xbox One X. It is not rolled out by console model but by which Insider Preview ring you are in. It has now been rolled out to all
    rings.

    Insider Preview has Alpha Skip Ahead, Alpha, Beta, Delta and Omega rings. Alpha Skip Ahead and Alpha are invite only from the development team. You can use any Xbox One family of console in any of the rings.
