Help. E102 on original Xbox one and I can’t install an OSU update.

Is the original Xbox one?

If yes, as I said previously you need to install first OSU 2 or 3 before OSU 1

So, try installing first OSU 2 and then OSU 1 (download the one available on the Step 5 using the offline update link shared previously

if the error appears again, install OSU 3 first and then OSU 1

Thank you for coming to the forums. I'm sorry to say but if the issue continues after power cycling then unfortunately the console will need to be repaired or replaced as from what I've seen E102 system errors will need to be fixed by certified Microsoft
technicians.

Did you try all of the OSU files? I believe there is OSU 1, OSU 2, and OSU 3 from the

OSU troubleshooting guide.

Same problem here. Any news?Im not part of the Insider program (I have installed the app in my PC (because my xbox is bricked) and after login with my user it tolds me to join so I undestand that Im not registered) but today my xbox has been updated to
the same version as yours and now gives me different errors at startup (E101, E102, E106).

As you say, the OSU files that we can download from the official site are not updated...

By the way, how do you check the OSU version without trying to install it?

Thanks for coming to the forums. We recommend since you just purchased the console to take it back and exchange it. Sounds like there is an issue with the Hard drive. However, you can try an

offline update to see if that helps. As the E102 error is an OSU error.
