Help downloading minecraft

If your old account (myperfection) is still active you may configure this account one your One as well and then have the game downloaded with that account. After that both accounts on the One should be able to play it.

Hi, when you attempt to download minecraft you should see an option to select which device to download to, Im guessing as you mention a memory unit that you are not selecting the hard drive as the device to download to.

Just add that account with its login credentials and set the One as it's home console. Then purchase and install the game. If you now login with your new account you will be able to play it.

To add another profile to your One just click on your avatar in the top left corner and choose "add new".

Btw the save game of your old account can not be transferred to your new account so you have to start over.

Is your friend trying to installing the launcher via Microsoft store, Xbox app or Minecraft.net?
If it's from the Microsoft store, please try downloading the game directly from the Xbox app or Minecraft.net

If the issue persist, try and double check the next:

Open Settings, click Update and Security and then Windows Update;

Click Check for Updates;

Click the Download and Install Now option, if available (Install optional updates as well)

Also, check the Microsoft Store for any updates on the Xbox apps and its services and update everything too.

Now, sign out from your account on both Xbox app and Microsoft Store and do this:

Go to windows settings > apps > search for gaming services app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that, click repair and then reset

Then do the same for the Xbox app:

Go to windows settings > apps > search for Xbox app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that, click repair and then reset

Finally do this:

Step 1: Open the Run window by pressing Windows + R key.

Step 2: Input WSReset.exe in the Run window and click OK.

Step 3: Then a command prompt window will appear. After a few seconds, Windows Store will open.

Sign in again on both Microsoft store and Xbox app with your account
And finally try to install the minecraft launcher
