Help disk games wont play

Was playing a game and my xbox one started to make a loud sound. Game froze, wont play any disk games. But will play downloaded and movies . Anyone know what I have to do to fix?

Try removing the disc, go into settings/turn off console from within the settings menu, wait 5 minutes, turn the console back on and try the game disc again.

You wont be able to play the game without the disk.

You will either have to replace the disk or purchase the digital version of the game. Unless you can find the original disk.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We see you are unable to play a disc game. If it is only that game disk that doesn't work. Then the disk is most likely damaged or not usable. We recommend to try first use the disk in a friend or family console see
if it launches. You can also go over the
troubleshooting for disk wont play.
