Help - Digital Download of Xbox One game via Xbox Live Account?

I just purchased Watch Dogs via gk4.me for the Xbox One and instead of issuing me with the normal 25 digit code to redeem via Xbox Live they have given me a email address and a password to download the game. This seems wrong to me - I
have emailed their support but can anyone advise me if this is now the way to do this on the Xbox One? Or have I been done?

5 games took 250 gig of space is it normal?

I have the below games downloaded on xbox one.

Assassin creed Unity ( digital download)

Assassin Creed Black Flag ( digital download)

Dance Central ( digital download)

Forza Horizon ( via disc)

sports rival ( via disc)

These games have consumed 250 GB of 500 GB hard disc on xbox one. is this normal?.

it will work, if you bought the digital copy from the MS market place it will work not sure about any others:

When I upgrade from digital download for Xbox 360 to digital download for Xbox One, will my digital Xbox 360 game license be deactivated?

A.No, Xbox 360 game license will not be deactivated. Both game licenses will be retained.

 

That is definitely not how it's done on the One. They have basically sold you someone's account. You will need to continue contacting them to see if you can get a refund. The selling of accounts is against the terms of service.

 

As Smwutches says, that does not sound right. This is definitely not how it should be done on Xbox One.

 

So I've obviously been sold something that should not have been sold, well not in this way art least. Can anyone suggest what I should do now please??

 

You would have to contact support for page and see if you can get a refund.

 

Same thing with me. Support is refusing to give me my money back. Also another thing they do not tell you is your region needs to be specific for the game to get picked up.

I have gone up and down with them. still not giving me my money back even though it is not working at all.

Will never buy anything there again.
