Had to sell my ps5 last month to pay bills. I've been using my uncles Xbox one I thought it would be decent but I never realized how slow it was in comparison to next gen. I downloaded cod (took almost a day) on the Xbox one and it deadass feels like I'm playing on a potato. It's unbearable the frames were way too slow, my movements and screen wouldn't even sync so l deleted the same day. I've just been playing Elden ring (it's the only offline story mode type of game l've ever really been interested in besides when I was a kid) and its decent bc it's offline but I haven't played in a few weeks bc I mainly play basic ass online games. My stepbrother is in college and lives in another state but has a ps5 and a series s. He said he'd sell me his series s for 150 +shipping, should I get it if I'm only worried about fps for cod and 2k mostly, sometimes madden/ncaa. Idc about 4k or anything like that bc I don't have a 4k tv so it's whatever and I also don’t play “great” story games, I’m playing these online for competitiveness, just need to know how the quality compares to series x/ps5. Buy his for cheap which I can afford rn? Or wait bc I will be disappointed? P.s I'm really feining to play 2k25 and the next cod beta...
