    Crew Rank question

    My character is level 86, but just got a crew rank notification last night that I am 82 - Street Boss. So I am assuming the crew rank is different than my player rank. The only info I can find online is that there are ten rank titles and that they are customizable.
    How does one progress in crew rank as opposed to player rank, etc.? Can someone please clarify? Thanks!

    RP earned while playing under the crew tag and with crew members is different from the GTA:O rank. THey will have certain things you can do with crew rank someday, according to Rockstar.

    Right, ok...I understand that the crew RP is not separate, and is a subcategory of RP. Looks like Social Club just updated my profile and shows my personal Crew rank, title and Crew RP progress bar, so I finally get it.

    After sorting out all the info I finally have a grasp of my GTA career - my rank within my crew is 5 out of 45 members, my crew rank is 82, my GTA Online rank is 86, and our crew rank is 25452.

    Ok, so you are saying not all RP is created equal - there's RP earned with and RP earned without crew, of which only the game differentiates for a purpose yet to be determined? And we only see the one RP total for our GTA:O rank, but there is a separate
    RP total for crew rank progress?

    I don't think the crew RP is separate. If you earn 80RP while part of a specific crew, that 80RP goes towards the crew rank too. Only I'm sure it takes a lot more RP to "Rank Up" a crew, so the more active people, the better.

    Don't quote me on this, this is just how it seems to me at a quick glance.
