    help co op problems


    i have been with my current internet provide TalkTalk for 2 years and have recently signed up for another year. i know my internet is slow but it has not stopped me playing on line with my friend in Canada. We generlayy play Borderlands 2 and Riptide.

    But in the last week i have been having problems. We can message each other but if we try to co op, i get kickd out of Live, loose Live completely, and no we have found that we cant even chat online. I generally get a message saying "unable to connect to
    game session".

    I have tried going into each of these games and joining the games of other players in the same location as my bud. I can join their games and gernally dont loose connection or get kicjked out of Live. I tried joining coop games on dead Island which was no
    problem but as soon as my bud joined the game i hade joined i got kicked. When i looked in the lobbies for these games he does not even come up as a friend. This is getting pretty frustrating.

    I have contacted Talktalk and they have advised that nothing has changed on my internet. I know my internet is not the speedist but this is getting silly.

    I have tried deleting games and reinstalling them, i have reset my console to factory settings, i have disconeected my phone so i just have the router going into my phone line, but no joy.

    I have another friend who lives 3 miles away from me (UK) and he has Talktalk he has not reported any issues with the service he gets. We both play WOT and have checked our ping rate, for europe we both have 5 bars for the others 4.........my freind in Canda
    has the reverse.

    I really want to find out what the issue is, is it my console, is it my internet, or is it an issue with live.

    Anyone else treading carefully?

    So far absolutely no problems with co-op.

    Game freezes during boss battles?

    Seems to be a problem with co-op! I've only ran into freezing problems while playing co-op none happen when I was doing single player.

    As far as i know its drop in/out co-op so position on map shouldnt be a problem. i havnt tried co-op so canne offer much more help then that sorry

    Is co-op multiplayer?

    Co-op just means cooperative, so yes team based competitive games could also be referred to as co-op. The problem is most people seem to think co-op has to be like a co-op campaign mode.

    yeah, doubt it'll have problems on co-op since dunno, they gonna focus a bit more on the co-op side with all the spartan ops misions right?

    the only question I have in mind, is what characters will the 2nd 3rd and 4th player be on campaign co-op

    No online...seriously...

    I actually wouldn't mind local Co-op in the slightest, I think more games could use Co-op than are currently willing to do it.

    I realise it's an RPG thus character and plot choices could be difficult, but really, couldn't you just add a mutual 'A' selection to dialogue to help keep both immersion and Co-op? I know it isn't ideal but some Co-op would be better than none, and the
    mutual choice would really help the Co-op do well.

    The only thing is that although Co-op is a good idea in theory, I can't trust anyone to implement it properly. I'd love to see it done right in RPGs, particularly, along with more shooters, but it would HAVE to be full Co-op (Like the difference between
    Halo's Co-op and Call of Duty's Co-op, for anyone familiar with those) and include all the dialogue, story options, quests, absolutely EVERYTHING.

    Secondly, it would have to be mature, proper Co-op. Full character development. Full interactions. Well done mechanics, like NOT pausing when the other player is in the menu. Why the *** would you do that? No drop in, drop out ***. PROPER, 50/50% split Co-op.

    .

    I can't stress it enough, either. I'd also only support it if the Co-op was developed after Single Player was completed, but again, the problem is trusting the developer to go full steam ahead on the SP and THEN and ONLY THEN finish up Multiplayer.
