HELP - CASTING ISSUES

Hi

For a while now I have been unable to cast to my xbox one. When I am on my phone or tablet my xbox one doesn't show up as a device that I can cast to like it used to. It used to work perfectly with all cast, Netflix and YouTube. I have tried tinkering around
in the settings to try to resolve the issue but am having no joy.

This has been a problem for a while now but I assumed it was because omy rubbish broadband at uni but it's the same at home.

Any help would be hugely appriciated as it is doing my head in and am tempted to give in and purchase a chrome cast.

Xbox One Casting Issues

Has anyone recently had problems casting media to your Xbox One? I usually use Allcast, but have tried Localcast as well as casting from the computer via WMP, nothing is working. Both Localcast and Allcast no longer recognize the Xbox One and the computer
can see it on the network, but it isn't a Cast To option. I have exhausted every option I can think of to fix the situation, with no success. New ideas are welcomed.

Sorry to see you're facing issues with the Xbox Live service.

The service is currently all working apart from a couple issues with Casting functionality on some Media apps.

Are you still facing issues?

 

I am also having this issue, I think the March update has limited devices you can cast from. Also 'go to TV on start' doesn't work.

@iBakez - this status is for how long now? And the problem is not only with Youtube, but with Netflix as well

 

It must be some new trendy word that hipsters use.
