HELP!!!! Can't Purchase Items

Hello,

I have the available funds to purchase items from the store of whatever game I am playing but when I buy it nothing happens. I dont get the item and it doesn't take the money. Help please!

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We need a little more information to provide the correct solution. What is the error message or error code that appears when you attempt the purchase? Which item are you attempting to purchase? Are you trying
to complete this purchase on an Xbox One, Xbox 360 or Windows 10 device? Be sure to let us know the results!

Try a hard reset:

Hold the power button until the system shuts off.

Then unplug the power cable for 5min and plug it back in.

Restart the system.

Xbox one

There is no error message. After I make a purchase, it goes back to the game screen. The most recent games I have tried to make a purchase is Fortnite and Freestyle 3v3. I am using my microsoft money from xbox cards I purchased.

Thank you! For some reason when I tried to use a debit card that had insufficient funds (of course the payment didn't go through) then I went back and chose Microsoft funds as payment and it worked! Go figure.
