HELP! CAN'T PLAY ON XBOX LIVE! SOMETHING TO DO WITH WIFI!

HELP! So I have a Xbox that I use Xbox Live over WiFi for and earlier today I was playing online perfectly fine, and then I went back on to play now, and it says I am not connected to Xbox Live. I have an Xbox Live 1 Year subscription so that's not the
problem. When I pressed the Connect to Xbox Live button in the menu, it said I had no internet connection and that was the problem. When I tried to search for an internet to reconnect, it said there was no internet available even though there is at least 3
in range and I was just using one of them earlier. I tried typing the name in then and it said that, I quote "Your Security Protocol Won't Work. This console supports WPA/WPA2 (personal), WPA2 (personal), and WPE network security protocols, but your router
is something else. You'll need to change your routers configuration." I then restarted the Xbox and it prompted me with a screen that said my hardware was broken and I'll need to send it in for repair. I have been restarting my Xbox multiple times and I have
reset my router, trying to fix it but to no avail. Please help! I'll answer questions if you need more information.

Home button not working and I can't type

Recently my 2 controllers' home buttons have stopped working, and as soon at this happened, I found that when I went to type something, I can't. We have recently gotten new wifi, so if I can't type, I can't get on Xbox Live and also can't use smartglass
to type with. Please help ASAP.

Can't connect to Xbox live

I've been experiencing some trouble with connecting to live for the past 2 months, my Xbox won't let me connect to live I've tried multiple ways from forums online and non have worked my Xbox will say I'm connected to my wifi but on my home page it asks
me to connect, so I click connect and it says I can't even tho it comes up with my wifi connected to my Xbox it doesn't make sense I can't play online I can't go on Netflix I can't go on YouTube and it's getting on my nerves

please help

Sounds like your wifi card may be malfunctioning. Try doing a hard reset like this. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the
power cord back in and restart the console. Once it is back up and operational test for results. Let us know. Good Luck!

thanks much shadowman for replay, yeh before i have update the firmware of netgear but the problem is not solved

i also ''steal'' for some minutes the neighbour wifi with high gain wifi adapter but i can't with this connection too connecting to xbox live.( i have used bridge mode + dmz ip xbox360 )

the router before shadow waqs set auto with upnp and in adding a dmz ip xbox

upnp was enebaled + dmz

i don't know why im and some other people can't connect to xbox live, maybe the new update use some packets that ISP can't receive? something like this i hope xbl team doing something because xbox live is a drug for the moment i play smokin guns on pc (
far west game) but i miss mw3 on xbox

When I test Xbox Live Connection I get an error saying that I have an Internet Error and my wifi can't connect to the internet but my wifi is connecting to my pc internet, but when I just sign back in I automatically connect to Xbox Live. When I play games
that do not require Xbox Live my Xbox Live never disconnects, this only happens when I play online games that require Xbox Live. I had one corrupt file but it was in games and apps, it was an incomplete download.

dude, same here. my xbox has been working fine until yesterday. the error message I get is

"Your console can't connect to Xbox LIVE. Do you want to exit this session and test your network connection? If you are playing a game, you will lose any unsaved progress. YES/NO

I know my wifi connection is fine, I'm just hoping it's not something to do with the receiver inside my xbox that is broken.
