HELP!! Cant connect to XBOX live due to unavailable update?

Hi, I am having problems connecting to Xbox live. Worked perfectly well yesterday but today its not. I keep getting a message 'A system update is required to sign in to Xbox live, but the update is currently unavailable'. I have downloaded the update
to a flash drive and installed it correctly to the Xbox but I am still getting the same error message.

Network test goes as far as Xbox live, I have removed the cache and done pretty much everything available support team recommends.

Perhaps the Xbox has a fault.. Your views very much welcome. Thanks

cant play ghosts or battlefield4 on my xbox one

Every time i try to play cod ghosts online it says cant connect to the servers and on battlefield 4 it says cant connect to EA online features unavailable HELP i need somebody HELP

i cant connect to xbox live its saying that an update is required from xbox live but is currently unavailable its about to be 2 weeks and my problem isnt fixed

I have tried everything and been on phone support with 4 different techs for over 5 hours. I am told my unit has gone bad. There is nothing wrong with the update. I told them I have seen hundreds of posts on this issue in the past 3 days. Tech support told
me they have not had any complaints or calls about this. I told them to check these forums because there are people on here with the problem and I doubt everyone's units went bad at the same time while doing the update.

Wired or Wireless connection: Direct wired to modem

What you've tried: Tried:

connecting HT 1000 modem direct ethernet cable to xbox.

downloading & installing usb update.

the whole lb rb x thingie & re-installing update.

did ALL you suggested.

same error ---codes above

That is very strange. There are a couple of things you can try here.

1. Power cycle the modem/router by unplugging for 5 seconds.

2. Follow the instructions at the link below to download the update and apply it to your console.

However, if you are in the preview program then you should post there for more assistance.
