Help Can't change The Microsoft Account Linked to my Xbox live GT

Here's my problem I recently got a windows phone and I went to play one of the games with xbox live integration. Automatically I was issued some dumb random gamertag to my account. The email I used for the phone is different than the email for my xbox live
account. So I figured I would merge the two. So I waited 30 days and moved that dumb random gamertag to another email address I no longer use. Then I tried to move my main Xbox live account to that microsoft account that I used for the phone, it then said
sorry we cannot change your account so I waited another 30 days and tried again and I get the same error. It's now been 2 months and it's still not letting me change my microsoft account. What could possibly be the problem now it's makes zero sense.

Can someone from Microsoft change my E-mail on my LIVE account?

I can't log into my xbox LIVE account because my Microsoft Account is blocked and cannot be unblocked. Is there anyway someone from Microsoft that can change the E-mail that is linked to my LIVE account from your end? This would help immensely. Or is there
someone I can call that will change it for me, PLEASE I NEED HELP I CAN"T GET INTO MY ACCOUNT!

Hi there,

the only option to be able to use your xbox live account on your Phone would be by using the same Microsoft Account on both devices.

The problem you might be facing is that the Phone will generate another xbox live gamertag when an account is used without xbox live account.

So when doing this, you might want the Phone to be powered off when switching things around

Also be aware that you can only move an xbox live account if the xbox live account has been on a console for at least 30 days (without it being (re)downloaded)

The regions of both Microsoft Accounts may need to match too and sometimes any currency/funds on the xbox live account may need to be used prior to moving the xbox live account.

Ok I checked my account and the only thing that could be the problem is I have a balance of $0.01. So I have to find something to buy in order to move my account? I don't see an abandon funds option.

Yes that could be the solution, but I'm afraid I can not guarantee that it is the cause why you can't move it.

normally it should remove any funds when trying to move but sometimes it can't and it has to be spent.

You can't change the email linked to the Xbox account without changing the email of the Microsoft account, as the Xbox account it's part of the Microsoft account and the Microsoft account it's the email that has currently linked

You can't "merge" accounts, however I think what you may be looking for is changing the associated email for your Xbox Live account?
