Help cancelling a Minecraft Realms Subscription, locked out of account

Hello,

No one is going to be willing, or more accurately, able to help, but maybe just maybe this will help someone, somewhere.

I've spent 40+ hours trying to chat or call or even email someone at Microsoft that can help, but all I get is AI, that is not helpful. I've had to create this account, just to login to post this...

So my 12 year old went to sign in to her Minecraft account and it forced her to sign into her Microsoft Account. She asked me for help, as it usually doesn't ask, but I guess once in awhile it should. She has a Minecraft Realms Plus server that she plays with all her friends, and family. We have had it for years, probably 5, so there has been much fun and work done on the server.

When I tried to sign in, I got a message that the account has been locked due to "Unusual Activity" and I need to change the password. Well that's great, I'm glad Microsoft has my back

I tried to reset the password, but I was not able to as the other email address listed *******@163.com, is not ours, and I know that 163.com is a free email provider in china, I'm in Canada, I've never been to china, neither has my 12 year old. So I select "I don't have access to these", and I get sent to an Account Recover page... great, since I PAY for services, this should be easy right? HAH

I will out the form, which just asks for my name, birthdate, address, last password, and if I have any services. I will it out, say yes to the services etc etc. I know every answer, because I have used this account for over a decade, before my daughter was even born as I used to play Minecraft with her much older brothers.

I get a page that says thanks, we will contact you within 24 hours once we verify. GREAT. HAH.

Within about 3 seconds, I get an email, that says that the information I provided isn't enough to confirm my identity, and to fill out the same form again. Well my name and address haven't changed in 49 years, so I fill out my name and address and resubmit the form. Same result. It didn't ask me any additional information, just made me fill out the same thing, with the same answers and the same result. Oh, and by the way, I can only do it these 2 times, and now I am locked out for 24 hours. SO I try again the next day, and the next day and the next day etc X 30.

I try to call, as I found a phone number posted online somewhere, but all I get is a virtual assistant, that no matter what I say or do, sends me to support.microsoft.com. Which would be great, but when you go to support.microsoft.com, you have to login before you can chat, call or post, well I CAN"T LOGIN.

So, I have concluded that even though I have paid for endless amounts of Microsoft Services over the years, I am not important enough to even give the time of day to, so I'm like fine, We will just cancel all of our services. HAH, you have to login to do that, and no one will help you log in, but they sure do like to continue to charge for services! The kicker is NO ONE can even play on the server as when you login it says it incompatible and the server owner needs to update the server... so we get charged, no one can play, we can't chat with anyone, we can't call anyone, we can;t login, we can't reset the password.. GREAT SECURITY!

I realize someone, if anyone responds, will post a chat link (which makes you login), phone link (which makes you login) or password reset (which doesn't work), so thanks, but it doesn't work.

Can't sign in... can't change the password (the recover info was changed by hackers (you'd think they could see that...), can't recover the account (recovery information changed by hackers). I've spent 40+ hours following links, filling out forms to be stonewalled over and over.

Check Subscription Status:

Microsoft Account: Log in to your Microsoft account and go to Services & subscriptions. Verify if your Realms subscription is listed there and its status (active, expired, canceled).

Minecraft Launcher: Open the launcher and go to Realms. Click on your Realm and check its status and renewal date

Retry Subscription: In some cases, retrying the subscription process can resolve glitches.

Log Out and In: Sign out of your Microsoft account in both the Minecraft Launcher and your browser, then sign back in.

Clear Cache: Clear the cache of your Minecraft Launcher and browser to remove any potential conflicts.

According to the official Xbox website: you can cancel an Xbox subscription (Or Minecraft realms subscription) at any time. Turning off recurring billing will stop future charges for a subscription and grant you its benefits until its expiration date. You may also be eligible to cancel immediately with a refund; however, not all subscription charges can be refunded.

To proceed with the cancellation of your Minecraft Realms subscription and to check refund eligibility from your mobile or desktop browser:

Sign in to your Microsoft account where you have an active Minecraft Realms Subscription on account.microsoft.com > then go to services and subscription.

Select Cancel subscription and follow the instructions.

Note: If you’re eligible for a refund, you’ll see an option to cancel immediately with a refund.
