Help, all my local captures have disappeared.

I've been taking screenshots and videos on my xbox for the last 5 years. As I have a poor internet connection, these are stored locally. Today I went to go back and look through them and they were all gone! The couple of ones that I have uploaded to the
cloud are still there (back to 2014) but everything else is gone. Help, please tell me where I can find all of capture. I haven't reset my xbox at all. Some of the captures were only a couple of weeks old.

@TheHooiganTX Thanks for the suggestion about the privacy settings. I've had a look and everything is set to as open as possible.

Also Upload Studio was already installed. I don't have an app called Game DVR.

I think there is something to it though.

After reading this topic, I checked out my screenshots / clips on my Xbox and noticed all of the ones that were not uploaded yet are gone except for 1 from 14 days ago.

I've taken several screenshots of environments in Red Dead 2, and a video of a bear attacking me because it kind of glitched when it happened. Those are all gone.

Thanks for the link, though that looks like it only applies to captures on xbox live, not local storage.

Sorry, I meant to say I've tried manage captures and upload studio. There is nothing in both options.
