help a mum who knows nothing!!!!

Ok so we got our son an xbox 360 18 months ago. It is now faulty and we are going to use our product insurance to get a replacement. The thing is that we are not very good with all this kind of thing and have tried reading through the support guides on here
but I feel confused and going round in circles! lol I have several questions can anyone help?

1- When we set up the original console we did it all using his details, email, child account etc but I would like to change this so it is in my name, can I do this?

2- We have an xbox live subscription for a year, can this also be transferred?

3- what can I do to all the stuff saved on the current console? Can I just transfer it all to a memory stick and upload to the new console once set up?

Minecraft 2 player....

We have an xbox 360 and my son is obsessed with Minecraft! How do we get the game to allow 2 players?

(any help much appreciated...from a mum who knows NOTHING about how to work this console!!)

Who knows!

I really do not know at this point if I will be playing anything in the fall. I have been trying to finish up that degree that I put off for 15 years. I do hope that the next cod game will be playable, but have my doubts. Just in case I will be getting
battlefield 3 to take care of my gaming fix for the winter break.

Fyi unless its the Xbox s 16gig or arcade unit without an external hd or the s with internal then you don't have to send the hd in with the unit however unless you live in UK or Australia you only get 1year warranty unless you got a services plan

You can change the email and account details all you want however since he is a child account he will remain so tillhe turns 18 or the account based on the birthday you originally entered

You can use a usb flash drive in your console to transfer saves and profiles
