    Hello Neighbor for Windows 10 PC


    I continually receive the error code 0x87dd0005 cannot sign into xbox live right now when trying to play Hello Neighbor. I sign in on the sight just fine and with other games/apps installed on the same the PC, just not Hello Neighbor. I have uninstalled
    the game, removed updates even removed the xbox live app to purge any latent settings. It is looking more like a registry error or something just as deep.

    Why is Hello Neighbor listed as Play Anywhere, but isn't available on the Microsoft Store in Win 10?

    Hello John,

    Have you tried just powering off the PC totally wait a few minutes and power it back on and try the game. You can try these steps it will install anything missing for apps that are auto installed with OS.

    Uninstalling and Reinstalling a default application on windows 10:

    1. Press Windows key + X.
    2. Then click Command Prompt(Admin)
    3. Now type the following command and hit enter:
    4. Get-AppxPackage *windowsstore* | Remove-AppxPackage
    5. Get-AppxPackage *xboxapp* | Remove-AppxPackage
    6. Restart your computer
    7. Repeat steps 1-2 when the computer has booted up.
    8. Instead of entering the command in step 3, enter the command in step 9
    9. Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers| Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}

    So I don't have that problem but the game will not load at all. It gets to the white tinyBuild screen and just stays there, I can hear the music but the screen gets stuck. I've uninstalled and re installed, restarted the computer...

    No, I get the same problem. Have tried all the proposed solutions on all 4 pc's in the family and get the same error message on all of them. Starting to get fed up as my daughters are really chasing me to get this working...

    I continually receive the error code 0x87dd0005 cannot sign into xbox live right now when trying to play Hello Neighbor. I have the same error and I tried this method with no luck.

    This issue was driving me nuts, (and MS support could not help). The solution, (I laughed for a couple minutes after I was able to reproduce and resolve the issue several times) is quite simple. I clicked on the Hello Neighbor game window several times,
    when the select the letter "A" option came up. Doing so will probably make the select "A" option go away and leave you with the hit "Enter" option. I was then able to access the Hello Neighbor game menu.

    i purchased the game pass at first then purchased the game and still get the screen. uninstalled and reinstalled. please help anyone!
