I accidentally hit confirm on the unenroll option as I was viewing the dev mode activation prior to viewing the ability that I could unenroll in the preview program but in m mistake of it wasn't sure what menu I was in for the preview program as the menus
are complicated, and accidentally chose unenroll, I wish to have the action undone, and still be a preview member as the main worry is so I DO NOT I repeat I DO NOT HAVE TO FACTORY RESET MY CONSOLE, thank you, please respond within a day or two my valuable
microsoft, and xbox support

Preview program unenrollment

I have accidentally (no idea how it happened) chosen to unenroll from the Preview Program. I did not intend to do this. It said it might take up to 72 hours until my unenrollment will be processed. It hasn't happened yet, and it's been under 40 hours. When
it happens, there will be a factory reset for my console. I do not want that. Can I still undo my unenrollment?

Removing account from Preview program

Hello,

I recently un enrolled my Xbox from the preview program and am still having issues. It claims I am still a preview member even after un enrolling. I don't want to be in the preview program any longer because its causing issues with my Xbox. How can my
console be rid of the preview program. Please Help.

You can re-enroll at any time using the preview dashboard. Launch the app and it'll take you through the initial setup again and you can enroll there

I'm currently pending in the unenroll pending, but once the unenroll takes effect I will have to factory reset my console, and when I launch the preview program it simply treats me as though as I am still a member

Hey Alex -

So while your Xbox One console will be factory reset, it won't actually remove your games and apps. You'll just have to add your Xbox Live account and re-connect to your home network once the reset takes place.

Hello, you may be getting constant console updates because you are part of a Preview Program, if you wish to change this you can go the Xbox Insider App on your Xbox and go to: Previews > Xbox Update Preview > Manage. You can change to a preview that would
fit more to your liking or unenroll from a preview completely if this is the case, hope this helps!

Are you in the preview program by any chance?

I had this the other day after an update. When I checked, I had been in the preview program. Unenrolling fixed it. Best thing to do would be to unenrol from the program and see if the problem persists. Bare in mind that after you unenrol, you will have to
run through the initial setup of your xbox again.

Well it must be a bug in the preview program because now that my old Xbox is completely unenrolled, the game works.

I’d prefer not to unenroll my One X so I guess I’ll just have to hope they fix it soon.

If not wanting to participate in the preview program anymore you can use the preview dashboard app to unenroll yourself from the program.

Just start the app, go to registrations and change the status of your console there.

Please be aware that your unenrolling will be pending until the current wave gets public as you cannot be released during a rolling wave. So once the October preview is rolled out finally you will then be unenrolled from the preview program.
