4gb Xbox 360 usb hard drive question

So I have the 4gb hard drive with my xbox and I have a usb drive that I want to use a hard drive to save all of my games, profiles, and music on. Is there anyway to format a usb hard drive or external hard drive that will have the necessary files to save
games and profiles too, and be able to have music on it that I can play?

My hard drive needs to be updated or replaced?It beeps and makes all kinds of noises.This started occuring last night.How do I fix this?Can I fix this?I read on support that it means your xbox may be damaged.It's no use taking everything off when I know
it's the hard drive.I tried my backup hard drive,and my xbox worked fine with that.Why do I need my 250gb hard drive fixed?Because my backup is only 120gb.This damaged one is the only one that can fit the memory.I hear I need a system update to fix this hard

Hello.I just deleted my saved files and launched the game.And still didnt work

Same exact issue here. About 30 hours into the game and none of my saves will load on the Xbox Series X. It’s completely broken. Even if I delete a few of the save files. I refuse to start the game over. This is unacceptable. I just want to request my money back at this point for selling me a broken game, but I’ll hold out a while longer and hope for a patch. Not sure what else to do. I want to love Starfield but they make it so hard.
