    this makes my credit card void and therefore impossible to register. can somebody fix this? or can an official microsoft employee please just enter the month trial into my account for me? i plan on continuing to buy the cards, but i want this month free,
    saves me some money for a month. thnx

    Ok seriously. How do you buy this thing within the game. What am I missing?

    Where do I go? Do I have to visit that God aweful games store? Because seriously....And dont tell me I have to use the Halo channel either because really...that needs to go away. I love the GAME but not how things are set up. I wanna play ODST. I need to
    buy it. Want to buy it...but I cant. And this is really funny...but the Xbox website wont let me add a credit card at the moment because its broken.

    Where you enter your billing information..it says select state/province. I live in Canada, so obviously province, however....no Canadian provinces are listed. Seriously. They forgot to put them in there. So ya.....

    I want to give you money!!!

    FREE 1 MONTH TRIAL HELP!

    I just created a new gamertag, and didn't click use free 1 month trial when prompted because I wasn't sure whether to use that gamertag, the option closed down and now I cant find where to activate my free month can anybody help me? point me
    in the right direction, I definitely have a free month avaliable.

    Well the issue is it looks like you created the account on the website instead of your console

    To use the free trial you must create an profile and click join xbox live you will have to use a new email because only one live account per profile

    And you cannot merve an online profile with an offline only promote it to a online profile

    Your payment method must match the country you're registered in, so if you are in the UK, you need a British credit card or PayPal account, if you're in Canada, your credit card and/or PayPal also needs to be Canadian.

    Since your gamertag shows as Free here on the forums, I think the problem is that you aren't Gold at all. The 30 day Gold trial offered to new gamertags created on a console is a true Gold membership and shows as such on the forums; since your gamertag
    shows as Free, you didn't get the Gold trial. (In contrast, the 48 hour Trial codes included in some games offer certain online multiplayer features but do
    not show the gamertag as Gold.)

    Since you've got played games going back years, I think you've misunderstood the 30 day Gold trial. It is only offered to new gamertags created on a console (up to three new GTs). If you download your old gamertag to the new console, you do not get another
    Gold trial.

    From what I understand, this free trial of XBOX LIVE GOLD needs to be associated with an XBOX LIVE account and GamerTag created on the console for the first time. I have been told that if you are trying to use this with a previously created account or GT,
    it will give the error.

    I am getting this error as well, which is upsetting, but I am confident that XBOX will be able to either fix or rectify the issue.
