Hello! I have a trouble with Minecraft Launcher installation!

When you navigate to the Microsoft Store and select "Library" does the game show up on the list to update/install?

Because this error code is happening when you launch the game, the best approach is to contact Mojang on the Mojang Help Center by selecting “Contact” at the bottom and letting them know about this particular problem you are experiencing. In addition, you can report it as a bug for Mojang to track. They may ask you to confirm your Xbox purchase history, which we recommend doing in a different tab while submitting your support request.

I was having the same issue yesterday, I the following solution worked for me.

In file explore i founI found the Minecraft launcher and deleted the folder.

I then went to the Microsoft store and installed Minecraft for windows only, without the launcher. Once it was installed I could then install the launcher without issue and launch the game

Sorry to hear your son is having trouble with the Minecraft Launcher. Please try the steps below to see if it will help fix the not connected error.

- Please go to the PC Settings > Apps > Installed Apps > Look for Minecraft Launcher > Advanced options > Repair & Reset.

- Following the same steps, please go back to the Installed Apps and then look for Gaming Services > Reset and Repair.

- After you're done with both the Gaming Services and Minecraft Launcher, please restart the PC and then check if the error is still occuring on the launcher.

If the issue will persist with the Minecraft Launcher, please try reinstalling it. You can uninstall it from the Installed Apps, then install it from this link https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/download
