    Cant join Xbox live (please help)

    I did finally get my account to work... but not through what I would consider the "usual" route. If I tried to use an existing email address etc, I consistently (and frustratingly!) got that PW error. When I, however, setup an account through this site,
    I had to do a bit of looking through my dashboard, but I did find it and xbox live accepted it (PW and all), no problem. Weird.

    At least it works!

    Hey Dancing, welcome to Xbox LIVE, but sorry to hear about the connection issues! So, when trying to sign in, are you using the 'create profile' option? If so, have you ever had Xbox LIVE in the past? How about a Games for Windows LIVE, or Zune account?
    Please let me know!

    Hey guys, how about this--can you please try logging into Xbox.com with that email address, to see if it's perhaps associated with an account already? You may want to try passwords you commonly use. If that doesn't do the trick, let me know, and we'll go
    from there.
