I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble recovering a Microsoft account that's connected to your PSN account.

IMPORTANT: Please don't share personal information, including emails, gamertags, phone numbers, etc.

That being said, it is important to mention that no one at Microsoft can tell you the email address associated to a gamertag, send password reset links, or share/change account information.

However, what I could suggest, and in case you didn't try, is to attempt to recover the account that you linked to your PSN account by submitting the recovery form but using instead a previously created Skype username (which is not the same as our gamertag) or previously linked phone number.

Note: If you enabled 2-step verification in the past, please be aware that the recovery form will not work.

Furthermore, I want to mention that according to the following article from Mojang support, “Once a Microsoft account has been linked to a PlayStation® account, neither the Microsoft account nor the PlayStation™ Network account can be associated with a different account.”

This means that in case you are wondering if it's possible to connect a different Microsoft account to your PSN account, unfortunately, this can't be done.

I have had a similar issue in the past. I would recommend contacting support through the Minecraft website. I have posted a link below.

I would also recommend to add an image of the transaction if you are able to find it. Transactions should be linked with an ID number that will help them locate which account it had been linked too.

If you know the email address, you can try sign in on the site xbox.com, and select "Forgot my password" then access the email address that your account is linked to and request for your password to be reset. Hope this helps!
