Ah, that's probably what the other poster was alluding too. I guess that makes sense if that's something a person wants to do. I sometimes listen to a sitcom while playing 360, which I do by putting my surround sound on tv while the tv itself is actually
tuned to the 360. That works since the surround and the tv are both connected independently to the dvr/tuner.

However myself, and this is just my own preference, I don't think I'd want to try and watch tv and a video game at the same time. I'd be to distracted looking back and forth.

MarvelHero, can you explain the TV part of your statement to me? You have directv, so do I, how does sending the signal from the dvr through the X1 before going to the TV set make anything better? I'm just wondering what the X1 adds to the equation.
