Never girls? I am not sure how you came to that conclusion. Are there less than girl gamers? Yes. I can agree with that. I follow quite a few streamers who are female. I play with even more on my friends list. I think the gaming community has and still does
accept girl gamers. You are also bringing up Youtube. I honestly don't use it much anymore except for music. I'd rather watch reactions live on Mixer.

I am not saying your post is wrong. But I do not agree with it fully. Males have been the majority in gaming for a long time. But that has been changing. On Twitter I see numerous girl gamers. I see them on Facebook Live videos. I see them all over mixer.
They are making gains in that aspect. I feel we have stepped forward. I feel girl gamers are accepted. Is there still room to grow? Sure.

I get where you are coming from in this post but I believe it is growing everyday. And will continue to do so.

Thats why I say "Hey how's it going" because it is a gender less greeting it can go with any ocation 😉

in all times i have used it in life i have used it in generalised group of people i have never said it meaning guys as in men or the male gender only. as i got older i changed the way i speak as i thought more on words i was using, now i tend to say "ladies
and gents"

If anything, I think it's more just a collective term for 'everybody'. I'm British so it's not something I tend to say really but I recognize it as just being a greeting to anyone and everyone. I think it's just a commonplace Americanised English term designed
to include everyone rather than anything derogatory/meant to exclude women and girls, in my opinion.
