You should be able to redownload/install the game using the same Microsoft Account which it was purchased.

Check
https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders/ to make sure the game is listed on your account.

If you are still unable to reinstall your game, contact customer service https://beta.support.xbox.com/contact-us .

Thanks. It's a pity. Because daughter played Minecraft before on my computer and now she has a laptop and Minecraft for me was just a waste of money. I wanted to transfer Minecraft to her laptop.

If you purchased it recently and don't have any significant play time, sounds like you should be able to request a refund.
