    fifa 17 doesnt work

    i have bought xbox one s bundle fifa 17 i download it by a download code but after download i cant open it . it says insert disc and i get it download code

    what shall i do now?

    Disc reader Xbox One S

    So i got an Xbox One S 4 days ago. I bought Red Dead Redemption to play on retrocompatibility. When i insert the disc or any other, the reader start working, but then it kind of "shuts down" and stop reading the disc. For example if i insert a bluray disc
    and open the app it freezes on loading screen and the same happens: the reader start reading, but doesnt finish it. I dont know if that means that the Xbox reader is broken or it´s just some software problem.

    As long as your console cannot detect any disc, it is quite possible a repair order to be needed.

    Before that, please reset your console to the factory defaults (prefer the option of keeping nothing) just to be sure that the issue is not caused on any software corrupted files:

    Reset Xbox One Console to Factory Defaults

    In case that issue remains, you can create a repair order on the following web page:

    I know you have lost the Game disc but that is the one you need to insert for backwards Compatibility. Inserting the install disc will give you that error. I know the same thing happens with COD Ghosts.
