Hello, Everytime i start my Xbox i get a message coming up saying..... system update stoped cant read the update from your xbox 360 hard drive. please reattach it. your console will automatically restart and continue the udpate. Status Code: 397F - 3CD6
- 2380 - 0F000 - C000 - 0034 it wont let me go past this message i cant go into settings or anything, i've done what the message said by reattraching the hard drive but it never worked, also ive used a usb flash drive to see if that would work but nothing,
has anyone else had the same problem? Thankyou

System update stopped error

Hi, just unpackaged my Xbox 360s that I got in November 2010 but haven't used until now, set it up and it booted fine, the. It asked me to do a system update which I did, it failed with the error: System update stopped Can't read the update from your Xbox
360 hard drive. Please reattach it. Your console will automatically restart and continue the update. Status code: 23EF-397F-B380-0F00-C000-0185 I have tried restarting, removing and replacing hard drive USB update with and without hard drive, holding the sync
button but I am at a loss what to do. Any help much appreciated.

This specific code isn't listed in the System Update Error Code list. I would highly recommend contacting official support for this issue.

You haven't mentioned this in your message so if you haven't already tried it, can you see if it installs without any hard drive or flash drives attached? Hopefully that works for you.

Hi,

I bought fifa 14 on my xbox one and it downloaded just fine. everytime i try to play it it gives me the system update message. i would then have to selct the cancel option and access fifa again then it would work for 5min untill the system update comes up
again. so every 5 mins the error comes up. my wireless connection is good. any suggestions pls?

i tried both of those tips and it still comes up saying disconnected from xbox live everytime I play that game; btw this started happening ever since i downloaded the new update for the game.

when i start it up it shows the xbox logo in the white background then comes up with a message that says some 360 features are missing or corrupt a system update is required to replace them then only gives me the option to restart the Xbox and then after
restarting does the same thing again.

When i turn on my xbox it says no signal for few minutes then after that its says the error message. i can't go back or go the dashboard. it takes me straight to the error message.I'm stuck on that screen. if i take my hard drive out than message shows up
saying insert the hard drive then the update will continue. after that the system stopped updating message comes back.
