Well ladies and gents the time has come, heists will be released early 2015 as part of a massive update for xbox 360, xbox one, ps4 and pc. Anyone who wants more info can go look at the news on rockstar social club.

Maybe it will come with the Heist update. Then when you pull a heist, other players can become the cops and if they stop you, they get the money from the heist.

Alright, lets have a discussion on the heist update what do you want to talk about?

 

Yup heists, along with new clothes, hairstyles, guns, and new vehicles.

 

So I am a little mad at the fact that it took rockstar a year to release heists after promising it in October of 2013, my question to everybody who reads this post is what are your thoughts on the heist update coming early 2015?

 

Looking good, although until they are actually released I'm not going to dwell on it. I do like how some chump has to front the money to do the heist and then could get a loose cannon like me in the crew throwing sticky bombs around like he was dealing cards
in Vegas.

 

But what if rockstar delays the heist dlc then what ?

 

at the paste rockstar has been going with the heist, and with the pattern we keep seeing, I wouldn't be surprised if they delayed it again. like I said in another post, I would love to just give up on it, but if they actually do bring it out, I want to be
prepared, I don't want to just be a returning player even though I haven't played every since they messed up the missions forcing us all to take forever for a decent payout. some people like that, but I don't. I do like a long mission where im doing something,
but a short mission shouldn't take too long, and I shouldn't get a low check because of it.

I find it funny that in the trailer Lester points to the player and says "I know you've been complaining.. but you weren't ready."

Lots of new weapons/tools were shown in the trailer, along with some new vehicles. They gave the player a voice apparently. I highly doubt Rockstar will delay Heists anymore (knock on wood). GTA V is already out for all 4 consoles (and Rockstar doesn't much
care for PC..), so there isn't really any excuse anymore.

I tried playing yesterday but my game had an update, even though no update was released since the LTS Update..? It wouldn't get past like 5% though so I couldn't even play. I deleted LTS Update and Cleared Cache, but nothing worked. Hopefully I can get on
before Heists finally come out.

try deleting the title update, and all the dlcs, then clear your cache 3 times, and restart your console

 

Haha deleting all DLCs, and spend the next couple hours redownloading them..

I had cleared cache a couple times last night and restarted blah blah blah. Nothing.

I saw that the Festive/Holiday w/e update came out and tried again. THANKFULLY its almost done. THERE BETTER BE SNOWWW.

 

@TragicZero, fully agree. It took them too *** long to make this DLC. I pray that it is worth it and won't get boring within the first 4 hours.

@Z4Zone, while I agree that there is a pattern and admit I was griping pretty hard about this, I still think that this confirms they are at least closer than they were before, and that is still a good thing. What would be even better now is if they released
Heist DLC ahead of schedule, but they probably won't until PC release to encourage players to return to consoles (both old and new).

@Grymm of Astora, that quote was aimed at us (and me) who have been complaining for them taking so friggin' long to make it! I loved the "breaking the fourth wall" moment though! Watch that this appears in Heists now just so they could have used it to "reply
to us".

@Grymm, next time, just delete and redownload the Title Update. This is what prompts you to download an update before you get in-game. Doing it by deleting the packs doesn't do anything. Believe me; I tried that too

@Everyone, do you think we could keep some of this stuff in Free Roam Online? If so, which and by what method? (Ex: Gun-mounted Rebel via Pegasus).
