HEATING issue's

Discus and support HEATING issue's in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Hello my Xbox one is on a glass shelf with a lot of room around it but man does that thing get hot.     HEATING issue's


    Hello my Xbox one is on a glass shelf with a lot of room around it but man does that thing get hot. Does anyone have any idea's maybe someone out there has made a customer external cooling seem that I can build?? Would a laptop table fan help? I just don't
    see why it doesn't have a liquid cooling system or have that option.

    Heat issue?

    The case definitely could have caused the heat buildup. Make sure that grill is not covered and the Xbox has room for air to circulate around it. I actually installed a fan in the back of the enclosed shelving unit the Xbox sits in to ensure it had an ample supply of cool air around it.

    Heat issue?

    I haven't noticed any heat issues on my console. Well you can try calling them but in case they don't have any solution you can try placing it on top of a laptop cooler that way it will have a fan of it's own. But I guess the case was the cause of the issue.

    No, putting fans on the outside will screw up the intended air flow. The most you should do is maybe use a normal fan to blow across the unit to increase the overall air flow.

    As why it doesn't have liquid cooling, cost.

    Hi! Kinect does expel some heat, but it shouldn't be hot to the touch, just warm. :)

    I believe it needs a reflow. You have to disassemble the system and heat the processor to a greater temperature than when it over heated. This issue was caused mt the 360 over heating.

    Xbox One Heat Issue

    It is on top of my desk completely in the open. It was in instant on mode also. It felt hot enough to me to be concerned about it. I will be putting it back into energy saving mode after the patch tomorrow because I don't see any reason even if it was downloading
    a patch that it would feel hot to the touch above the fan.
