    Hearing myself in friends headset (Xbox One)


    So my friend got a new head set recently and me and some other friends noticed that we all can hear our self's through one of our friends new headset. We have tried everything to fix but can't find anything. His new headset is a tritton Kama. Please help
    I'm starting to go mad with hearing myself and others!!!

    I bought a xbox one armed forces headset and it is messing me up not hearing myself, is there a way to make me hear myself?

    Question will this headset work with cod on the new xbox one?am hearing stories that headsets wont work without an adaptor?

    For cod ghost you really do need a headset.i tried without for few days kept getting killed.but since buyng headset am hearing and finding other players easily.

    If you can hear yourself in another users headset like an echo, it is usually down to the fact that the friend in question has his mic to close to the headphones, the headphones are too loud, he has chat still playing through his tv speakers and his tv sound
    is still on or to loud or the headset is not quite plugged in properly?

    It can also be a NAT issue so you may also want to check that. (there may be other reasons but can't think of them at the moment).

    Funnily enough a friend of mine also has a Tritton headset, and I always get echos. We tried everything to get it sorted, in the end we gave up and we now live with it.

    I personally think its Tritton headsets.

    Its weird because my headset allows me to hear myself while talking, and i can hear myself but people cant hear me

    Yeah same. It could literally hear myself talking through my headset but my xbox wont pock up any sound. And i tried joining my friends a bunch of times. One of my friends connected but i couldn’t hear him at all.
