    Headsets that work on both Xbox One and PC


    I'm running a YouTube channel and I also stream quite a bit.

    I currently use Astro A30's but they are currently in for repair at astro as i was getting a high pitched whine and low pitch buzz when using the "Stream" port on the MixAmp. If i get the headset back and it is still making the noise which is making recordings
    unusable, i will request a full refund and look for a new headset.

    I wanted some suggestions of headsets that i can use on Xbox One and PC at the same time as i don't really have the budget for a headset with game sound and a desktop microphone.

    Can't chat and can't hear others talking when plugging headset into controller

    Both headsets still work for my PC, and yes I have also tried the Skype App on Xbox One, not working either. Skype works on PC though with both headsets.

    I don't recall the problem occurring after any certain update. Definitely not a controller update, haven't done one of those in a while before troubleshooting these problems.

    Xbox one headset on PC

    Can anyone tell me if the xbox one headset (this one Xbox One Chat Headset kaufen – Microsoft Store de-DE) works fine on a PC ?

    I always used the X360 headset on my PC so i´m guessing this one will work fine too, but i wanna be sure before buying the headset.

    No sound on headset

    Yes to both. Works on friend xbox and also works on Switch and PC without any issue. Ive also tried different headset. Sound works fine through the tv just not the headset.

    Having Audio Issues on 2 consoles connected to the same account.

    I've tried all of that. Tried syncing his (new) controller to my xbox and also tried my headset on both controllers synced to both xboxs' and his headset on both controllers. No audio whatsoever. But plugging those same headsets into any other source (phone,PC,
    etc) and they work fine.

    I have the same headset and adapter, and i have put it away just because i needed the chatmix to work on PC. I would also like to know exactly WHY Microsoft Are unable to make this work on PC. I suspect the adapter is not working at all the same way as the Xbox does regarding communication with the headset, which is incredible considering the fact that Microsoft makes both Xbox, headset, adapter, PC and operating system, and any customer is forced to use the adapter to achieve even a barely acceptable sound on PC. It is basically not usable for me at all, only as a last resort if my old wired headset (with a working chatmix!!!) stops working.
