@ headsets in one household

are there any other people in your household using a mic for party chat that could be a issue that is a very common one as well and another could be the wiring may be faulty in your headset if you are using a wired headset

Thank you so much, did the tests and headset was definitely working, Bought a new controller this morning (did need one anyway) and you were right Audio came up as an option when headset plugged in!

Fantastic, now have a very happy 11 year old and a quieter household!

Just on a side note. I've found there isn't much need to reduce normal household noise around babies too much. As long as you're not too loud or startling, the baby will be fine.

I’m having the same issue with the same error code. Audio comes from both my headset and desktop speakers. I cannot turn off hdmi audio and it is very annoying. No one in your household wants to listen to you game especially at night.

The missus bought me a gaming headset (she already let me open it) and i've bought the kids some Kart racing game with madagaskar characters on the front, and some Spyro game with interchangable plastic figures... These days i play the least in the household,
but the gaming headset means i can chat to friends while the kids play
