Headset won't always connect

Ever since getting the Xbox One on launch day I have been having a problem with the mic. Typically, it will not register that it is connected. I can turn the volume all the way up and i will still hear the beeps. The mute mic button will still light up and
turn off. The problem is that I can't talk and I hear my friends through the speakers of my tv. I then have to unplug the mic and plug it back in several times. sometimes I even have to reboot my console. It's extremely annoying. Does anyone else experience
this? I really don't want to go out and buy a new headset.

Xbox One Headset Won't Plug In

My controller and headset I got brand new that came with my Xbox One won't connect. What I mean is that the plug for the headset won't plug in to the controller to physically connect. I tried for about an hour before giving up. So my question is what can
I do to resolve this?

 

Xbox Bluetooth Headset won't connect to my cell phone

I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 phone. The headset works with my ipad 3 and xbox, however it the headset won't connect to the phone. It doesn't even recognize it.

 

Signing in again with the controller will typically rectify this.

Press the Home button, select your profile pic in the upper left and press A, then press A on "Choose this person" and often the mic will suddenly start registering that it is actually you talking and your party will hear you.
