    So i just bought the Elite 800x by Turtle beach for my Xbox one but when I turn it off It don't switch to Kinect it's like muting my mic to use the Kinect as a mic I have to unplug the whole transmitter is there anyway to just turn my headset off and it
    auto switches? Only does it with this headseT?

    Dont want to use Kinect to communicate with friends?

    I see two different xbox one sku's coming...one with Kinect minus the headset and one with the headset minus kinect no price difference. That's the optimist in me.

    Upset over $400 XBox-One vs. $500 Xbox-One with Kinect

    If you really need voice commands it so much simpler with kinect, with a headset you still have to fart about turning it on and get the headset on. With kinect you just walk in and talk.

    Just a question OP... Did you turn off the Kinect mic (as in, the "use Kinect for chat" to off) before plugging in the headset?

    Stupid question but have to ask

    sorry got another question if i have my headset plugged into controller and my kinect chat on,is it true kinect wont pick anything up in game chat,

    so basically if that's true i could plug headset in mute and ill get silence in the background.and when i want to talk unplug headset and kinect will pick my voice up for in game.

    1. Are you using a headset, or Kinect?
    2. If headset, what kind?
    3. If Kinect, does it work for voice recognition?
