    Headset volume really becomes really low when in a party


    I have xbox one. I'm using the inbuilt microphone port on the Controller. When i'm in a party the volume becomes really low and weird. barely able to hear anything in game as well as other party members. Everything is fine when not in a party.

    It becomes really annoying when playing audio dependent game such as Fortnite.

    The problem suddenly started couple of weeks back.

    Can anyone please help me if there is a fix and/or if I need to adjust any settings or anything else.

    Party hears an echo from my mic, Help fast please!?!?!?

    Hi, just recently bought the Xbox One headset adapter and I have done the necessary updates and have tried to put my volume low, tried to make it so no game volume was coming through but the person in the party could hear an echo even if it is on really
    low volume, please help!?!?!?!

    Volume on xbox 1

    This should become ungreyed when you plug a headset into the 3.5mm jack. Volume controls are also available in the party chat settings.

    Strangely when my friend says "hey cortana" in his mic mine will hear it as well and activate when we're in the same party, volume on my headset really isn't that loud so it's just weird that it can hear his voice through the headset speaker

    recently bought a pair of tritton pro+ headset and chat adapter, chat volume is really low after turning it up through the adapter and headset, just wondering if anyone else is having the same issue? also updated controller too.

    Im using turtle beach px4's and don't seem to be having the issue. I have to turn on the game sound 'on the adapter' and then turn up the volume for the game sound on the headset, The chat volume is a good level, but obvisouly I can't have the game level
    a really loud setting as the third party headset is amplified allot more than the headset Microsoft produce.
