HeadSet Voice monitoring

Hi I would seriously like to request Voice monitoring in the headset or at least an option, for it. Whoever decided it was good idea to take that out was very wrong not only can I not hear myself talk and therfore have no idea how loud I am I now wake up
people and have had *** thrown at me because I woke then up. Please put this back in before you ruin my life or else I can no longer game at night.

Questions about headsets.

Sorry but on the Turtle Beach headsets the mic monitoring cannot be turned off at all, Tritton headsets which have their version of this function (Tritton call theirs SVM Selectable Voice Monitoring) can be turned on/off.

 

Voice feedback on chat

Mic monitoring only let's you hear your voice through the headset. Do you perhaps have your voice to come through the tv as well? If not have you tried a different controller or headset?

Yes I have the turtle beach x42. Sometimes I hear myself sometimes I don't. It's a turtle beach feature as well the headset also automatically adjusts game volume so that it doesn't drown out chat volume. Some of my friends sometimes talk louder than the
game volume. I can also play late at night because I don't need to play game volume/chat volume through my HDTV's speakers. I've tried Xbox headsets the basic one which came with my Xbox 360 slim console and the wireless Bluetooth headset which I had to shout
into it to pick up my voice. I'm sure you don't have to hear yourself talk you may even get an echo from other peps in your party. That eco effect happens a bit with Xbox 360.

 

I don't think it's my Headset. 360 has voice monitoring where your voice comes through just slightly so you know how loud you are. (Not talking about an echo). Xbox one doesn't have this feature it's total noise cancelation.

 

I have turtle beach XP400's, and although it has a facility to hear myself it doesn't work properly, because there if a max volume for this, and if I turn the sound up on the game I can't hear myself and then talk to loud. So even though I have it, it doesn't
work IMO.

 

Not saying this doesnt need to be implemented, but if you cant control your voice at a proper level there is something wrong with you.

 

how can you control your voice if you can't hear it? The reason we dont shout without a headset is because we can hear it, then you buy a headset which blocks out all surrounding noise, so you have nothing to reference, and over compensate.
