    HEADSET TROUBLESHOOTING


    I have a xbox series s and have purchased the Stealth Phantom x headset. it plugs in with a 3.5mm jack. When plugged in, my teammates can hear me, but I can't hear them. When I plug the headset out I can hear them over the TV, but obviously they can't hear me then since my headset is not plugged in. Has anyone experienced this before?

    I have allowed all communication setting possible, no one is blocked or muted so not sure what to do. any help or suggestions?

    Hey TimelyAuthor197! What kind of headset are you using? Is it physically connected to the controller? Does the same issue occur on a different controller or with a different headset? Post back and let us know!

    I seem to be having the same problem. I have the Xbox One Chat Headset (Which I got with my Xbox One). I physically connected it to the bottom of the controller. I tried on both of my Xbox One Controllers and I only have this headset (I got plenty more but
    Xbox doesn't support AUX :/). When the headset is connected and I keep clicking the + button, I start hearing "ping" like noises which I assume means I reached Maximum Volume, that's however the only thing I was able to hear

    I'm having the same issue. I purchased the Microsoft XB1 headset and it worked fine for about a month. All of a sudden i couldn't hear or talk to any one else but i could hear the game play. The mic does light up and acknowledges that im speaking into the
    mic. Gamestop did replace one set and the new set worked for about 3 minutes but its now doing the same thing. I spent 1 hour on the phone with xbox support but no solution was found. I hope someone can find the solution to this.
