    Headset stopped working


    Hi

    I need some help to get my headset working again. I bought a new XBOX ONE S in August 2018 and have been playing with a HP Omen headset&mic plugged into the 3.5mm connector on the wireless controller that came with the XBOX, everything worked fine (I could
    hear audio and I could talk to other players).

    Now there is no audio in the headset and mic does not work. The XBOX does not even recognize that the headset is plugged in.

    I tried connecting the headset to a PDP wired XBOX controller and the headset worked for a few days but has now stopped working.

    I have tried using a different headset that my son uses on a different XBOX but did not work when connected to my XBOX.

    I have tried updating the controller firmware which didn't solve the problem.

    Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

    Headset stopped working

    It sounds like your audio jack plug is playing up. Sadly I've had a couple go and I believe controllers are only covered for 3 months.

    Thanks for your reply, sounds like you're right. I'll try get the controller replaced under warranty, if only covered for 3 months there may just be 1 day left cos I purchased it on 5th August.

    Hi,

    If the headset working on another devices but not on your Xbox (even with new controller) , its meaning you made a bad settings into your audio's settings… or privacy settings.. or voice ban issue...

    So what's the issue ? cause not working its a general word that's tell nothing ;) I mean , do you have sound from the speaker ? Are you able to talk with the mic ? So many questions… Waiting your answer to try to fix your issue.
