Headset stopped working with wireless controller

Bluetooth stopped working how? Like you can't connect your controller or wireless headset?

Again, I have tried updating it, wired, wireless (newer controllers can be updated wirelessly), with the headset plugged in and unplugged, and nothing works. Also after recieving my replacement controller, my headset has seemed to stop working. I am thinking
it is the fault of the headset, but my replacement controller is having issues staying on with new batteries. A previous post on here said an old adapter would fix the problems, and if that is so, I would think it would be the controller having to support
the headset, not the headset supporting the controller, as it works fine on a normal wireless controller.

Its definitely the controller. Works fine on other controllers. But dont know how to contact microsoft in nz to get it replaced as its only a few months old

Hey! Is the headset wireless or wired? If it is wired, does he plug it straight into the controller, or does he use a stereo headset adapter?

it is possible that it is the controller 3.5mm headset jack. The internal housing is possibly worn out. Try plugging the headset into your phone and playing some music through the headset. If the headset plays music, then it is the controller. If it does
not play music then it is the headset. With tech stuff you have to use process of elimination to figure out the problem usually!
